History

ESH is established in year 1977 as a chapter of the Egyptian Medical Association (EMA), which was founded in year 1933 by documented royal approval. However, ESH is a completely independent body, with a separate organizing panel and autonomous budget.

ESH comprises more than 500 haematologists and is dedicated to promote knowledge and scientific information for understanding and implementing all aspects of haematology.
